Lately, I have had more difficulty in finding valid amazon coupon codes, and I am looking for more sources. A few years ago, it was really easy to check out several coupon sites and get the discount codes from them. However, for some reason, it is not so easy. Perhaps it’s because of the economy?
I’m not sure if you are an affiliate, but Amazon recently decided to end paying commissions to affiliate who promote Amazon through pay per click methods. This shocked many people because a large part of their income and perhaps all of it was tied to the ppc model. This demonstrates that Amazon is looking to stop paying out commissions perhaps because they now see the affiliates as competition. Why pay ppc marketers when they can use the same keywords and get a profit.
For this same reason, I feel that Amazon is now more reluctant to give out amazon coupon codes or amazon promotional codes because they are now a well known brand name, and it isn’t necessary to promote as much as they once did. Don’t get me wrong, because I am still able to find the codes. However, it is not easy as it once was. You will have to search and dig for them a lot deeper.
